Will work for space . . .

Sorry for the delay in getting around to posting. I don't why, but there are not always things to say. I have been working in the slightly lucrative world of temporary employment, purportedly supply a solution to 'your temporary staffing needs.' On the long end of things, I have been applying for jobs in the US, University of Alabama and (yes, wait for it . . .) Yale. No one seems to want to talk to me . . . (though the folks at Alabama did conduct a Skype interview) There's another topic for career counselors to write about . . . the grainy, latency infested, Skype interview. Pshew.

As for me, I am beginning to write some music again. Which is a great thing . . . it has been too long since I took the time to concentrate on the work. To many distractions in the big city. I have been looking for a way out of this place. Maybe soon. On a good note I have a possibility of working part-time at an artists retreat this winter . . . in exchange for a studio. I hope this comes through, I certainly could use the time.

I think what is really troubling me is that I am having great success with my class at Columbia and getting these interviews . . . but no real breaks here. Which, I really don't understand, because I have worked so hard to get to this point. And now, it's as if I am starting all over again. Will we ever get back to Europe?

In Chicago it is snowing tonight . . . it is April 28th . . . Pshew.

Sorry to hear you are still paying your dues, man. I thought the class at Columbia was your big break. Have you thought of actually doing music for video games? I've heard that it can be lucrative. ~Curt
