I'm still here . . .

Well, for those of you dedicated people reading my blog (Mom) you may have noticed that I haven't been writing too regularly. So, here's an update. The weather here in Belfast is beginning to get dreary. Have a look. It's this time of year that I get very tired and find it very difficult to work. So, I am slogging through it, getting things done. I hope to have the Panopticon project done at the end of this week. Then I will begin the final piece for my portfolio: a work for uillean pipes and electronics.

On an up note it appears that my harp piece, Meditation, Mediation, Meditation, will receive a performance at the Sibelius Institute in Finland. More on this when I hear more from the interested parties.

Happy Halloween.

Where is the site?

I have no idea. It seems that my service provider Verio is moving things around this morning. Hopefully it will be back up by the mid morning . . .

UPDATE: Aha, seems hurricane Wilma took out Verio's service. Ergo: Link

Back up, again . . .

Well, lost the PowerBook the other day. But, thanks to Mac-Sys everything seems to be fine now. Hopefully it was a freak accident that will not repeat iteself. The hard drive was making funny sounds and whatnot. Then the system just wouldn't boot . . . well, to make a long story short. It's back with little if any data loss. Let the back ups begin!!!

On another note I had a great tutorial with Francis Dhomont yesterday. He is a very warm and wonderful man. He presented works in a lunchtime concert which was well attended. I will write more later with links but for right now I am just happy to have the machine back.
